Subcooling Formula
Subcooling = Saturation Temp − Liquid Line Temp
Saturation temperature is determined from liquid line (head) pressure using the PT chart for the specific refrigerant.
Target Subcooling Guidelines

- Low subcooling: Undercharge, restriction, or condenser issue
